Board Chairman: Mr. John McLeod, P.Eng., FEC
Mr. John McLeod has over 40 years of technical, operational and management experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, both domestic and international.
After graduation from the University of New Brunswick with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, he spent 15 years with Amoco Canada in western Canada and the USA, including four years as Chief Engineer.
In addition to his North American experience, he has been in involved in exploration, development and EOR projects in China, Papua New Guinea, India, Georgia, Guinea, Sudan, Oman and Egypt.
John was instrumental in the development of the oil industry in Sudan in the 1990's with State Oil, later Arakis Energy Corp.
He was a director of Heritage Oil Plc from inception until the company sales in July 2014. He has held the positions of President and CEO of public companies, including Arakis Energy Corp, Rally Energy Corp.,
California Oil and Gas Corporation, Tuscany Energy Ltd., and Paris Energy Inc.
He was, until December 2013, President of United Hydrocarbon International Corporation, a private Calgary-based oil company with significant exploration assets in the Doba and Lake Chad Basins, Chad.
John is a member and a Past President of APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Alberta, Canada). He also belongs to the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
President and CEO: Mr. Gregory Fedun
Mr. Gregory Fedun is an entrepreneur and businessman who has successfully founded and run a number of companies. Mr. Fedun has assisted several companies in the development of their resources projects in North America, South America, Africa and the Middle East. These projects included the development of offshore hydrocarbon assets in the Gulf of Mexico, which comprised successfully acquiring, developing and bringing an asset on stream.
Mr. Fedun previously worked extensively with the Al Mualla Royal Family (UAE) consulting on various projects. Additionally, Mr. Fedun assisted Voyageur Oil & Gas Corp. in reforming its management team, adding a former Technical Director from BP Oil. This resulted in Voyageur securing a business combination transaction with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, worth in excess of $70 million. The companies he has worked with have raised in excess of $150 million over the past 6 years.
Executive: Mr. Gary Warner, P.Eng.
Mr. Gary Warner has over 30 years of technical and executive experience, encompassing all phases of petroleum engineering. In addition, he has a proven record of creating valuable production bases by astute allocation of capital, having been the founder, director, chief executive, and president of several newly-created and successful exploration and production companies, both private and public.
Mr. Warner graduated from the University of British Columbia with degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in 1981.
Gary spent 12 years with senior producers Dome Petroleum and Encor Energy, reaching the level of Manager, gaining valuable operational experience and supervisory skills. Gary went on to play a vital executive role with Westward Energy, Stratagem Energy, Stratosphere Energy, and SkyWest Energy.
He has since been involved with play and prospect evaluation in the USA, Africa, and SE Asia.
His reputation is one of conducting operations within sensitive environments safely, on time, and under budget.

Chief Exploration Geologist: Mr. Richard Hawes, P.Geol., MBA
Mr. Richard Hawes has over 30 years experience in the Canadian and International oil and gas industries.
He graduated with a BSc (Hons.) Geography and Geology from University of London in 1971, an MSc from University of Calgary in 1977, and an MBA (spec. Finance and International Business) from University of Calgary in 1990. He also completed the course work requirements for a PhD in Geology from University of Alberta (1977 to 1980).
Richard started his career in the oil industry with Geological Survey of Canada in Ottawa, working from 1974 to 1977 on the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline and Arctic Islands Pipeline Projects. He joined Gulf Canada Resources as an Exploration Geologist in 1980, where he successfully generated plays and prospects in Alberta, British Columbia, and offshore Newfoundland. From 1986 to 1988 he worked for the Alberta Government Department of Energy as a geologist.
After completing his MBA in 1990, he has consulted with a number of energy and pipeline companies in Calgary, working on upstream and midstream oil and gas projects and corporate financings in Western Canada, offshore Eastern Canada, across the Western US and Alaska, to West Africa, Former Soviet Union and Sudan.
Richard's experience includes corporate refocusing and refinancing, and has served as director in several instances.
He was recently the Corporate Development Executive with Sudapet, the Sudanese National Oil Company, until the separation of Sudan and South Sudan.
He has since been involved with play and prospect generation and evaluation across North Africa, West Africa, the Middle East, the UK North Sea, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
Mr. Hawes is a member of APEGA, AAPG, CSPG and is a fellow of the Geological Society of London.
Senior Geophysicist: Mr. George Fulford, P.Eng.
Mr. George Fulford has over 40 years of technical and management experience in the upstream geological and geophysical evaluations for various projects in Canada and internationally.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia, he commenced his professional career as a Well Site Geologist with Imperial Oil (ESSO Resources of Canada). He progressed as a Senior Geophysicist with PanCanadian Petroleum, as a Director of Exploration Review Branch with the Government of Alberta, Canada, and as a Geophysical Manager with Petro-Canada.
In 1987, he started international assignment as a Senior Geophysicist with Sirte Oil in Libya for 7 years. Since 1994, as a Geophysical Consultant, he has evaluated prospects for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, India, Turkey, and Mozambique. During mid 1990's, he evaluated many projects for International Sovereign Energy (ISR) as the Geophysical Interpreter and mapped State Oil concessions in Sudan. This mapping led to the revival of the Sudan Oil Industry.
In 1996, he joined State Oil/Arakis/Talisman for 7 years as a Senior Geophysicist for the Sudan Projects. He mapped Block 1 and Block 2 in Sudan, prospects included Toma South oil field, El Toor oil field, Mahafir oil field, and other oil fields later being put on production.
After 2003, he continues to provide geophysical consulting services for various international projects, including Chad Chari Quest concession, interpretation of seismic in Chad, mapped 3 drillable prospects in the Chad Doseo Basin, etc..
Senior Consultant: Mr. David Teh, P.Eng., MBA
Mr. David Teh has over 30 years of experience as Engineer/Manager/Executive in the petroleum industry. In 1979, he graduated from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada with a B. Engineering (Mechanical) degree. In 2009, he graduated from the University of Manchester, UK with an MBA. He has worked for EXXON/ESSO Production Malaysia, ESSO Resources Canada, PETRO-CANADA, TALISMAN Energy of Canada, GNPOC of Sudan, FCP in Algeria, CARACAL/GRIFFITHS of Canada & Chad, and others.
He is 1 of 2 Founding Vice Presidents of Caracal/Griffiths (CARACAL) for 3 years (November 2009 to December 2012). In 2011, he resided in N'Djamena, Chad for 8 months as Vice President & Country General Manager to establish CARACAL office there. At the end of 2011, he was transferred back to the Calgary, Canada head office as CARACAL Vice President responsible for Chad Pipeline projects. On December 31, 2012, he retired from the company. At the end of 2013, CARACAL produced more than 11,000 barrels of oil per day in Chad. In July 2014, CARACAL was sold to GLENCORE for US$1.3 billion.
He has spent a total of 7-1/2 years in Sudan as GNPOC (Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company) Project Management Consultant/Engineering Superintendent/Manager, culminating being appointed as GNPOC President's Office Manager for 3 years (until June 2007), as an Advisor & Executive Assistant to the President of GNPOC. In 2006, GNPOC produced about 250,000 barrels of oil per day from 9 oil fields, with a combined company and contractor employees of 5,000, generating about US$6 billion annual oil revenue, and with a yearly budget of US$1 billion.

Mr. Mauro Fiorucci is the Head of Oil & Gas - FourWinds Capital Management. He has over 15 years of investment advisory and corporate finance experience in the oil and gas sector with a focus on growing and frontier markets.
After graduation from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) with a B.Sc. in Economics and Finance, he worked in the Oil & Gas and Mergers & Acquisitions teams of Lazard and ABN AMRO. In 2008 he joined Barclays as part of a team tasked with launching Barclays' Mergers & Acquisitions practice. Before moving to FourWinds Capital Management as Head of Oil & Gas, Mauro ran an energy consultancy advising National Oil Companies and E&P; Independents in capital raising and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Mauro has executed over US$ 50 billion of Mergers & Acquisitions deals and more than US$ 2 billion of equity, equity-linked and debt financings. In his career he advised E&P; Independents, Oil & Gas Majors, National Oil Companies, Governments and Oil & Gas Authorities.
Mauro led Oil and Gas transactions across multiple jurisdictions including, among others,: Algeria, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Mozambique, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Paraguay, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, the UAE, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States and Tanzania.
